About Us

The Scottish Rite is a Masonic organization that continues a Master Mason’s education by building upon the ethical teachings and philosophy of Ancient Craft Masonry through allegorical and dramatic presentations. This is done through a series of Degrees that explore the philosophy, history, ethics and truths that guide Freemasons’ lives. The Scottish Rite Degrees consists of the 4°–32° and an honorary 33rd Degree, which is awarded for exceptional service. We are located in the historic Eau Claire Masonic Temple in down town Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  In addition to the Valley, we share this building with three Masonic Lodges; George B. Wheeler Lodge, Sanctuary Lodge, Eau Claire Lodge and the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Upper Wisconsin.

The Valley of Eau Claire is a four (4) Body Valley comprised of:

  1. Lodge of Perfection (4°–14°)
  2. Council of Princes of Jerusalem (15°–16°)
  3. Chapter of Rose Croix (17°–18°)
  4. Consistory (19°–32°)
